Two Girls Perfectly Recreate Kimye's Street Style Looks

When in doubt, ask yourself one question: What would Yeezus do? The answer: Coordinate your #OOTD with your beau and document it (because it didn’t happen unless you Instagrammed it, right?). Inspired by this mantra, Kathleen Lee and Katie Burroughs have created the blog What Would Yeezus Wear (#WWYW). The San Francisco friends post split-screen photos of themselves mimicking Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s (and even sometimes, North West’s) fashionable get-ups.
The idea to dress like the the official “First Family of Fashion” grew out of happenstance, and the BFFs and co-workers, who’ve nicknamed themselves “Katye,”continued with their copying ways ever since. “The day I wore the denim shirt we decided to take a pic to do side-by-side,” Lee told Us Weekly. “The pic we found of Kanye had Kim in it, and Katie was wearing almost the exact same outfit so we took it together.”

The likeness is uncanny. The girls’ outfits have managed to capture even the slightest details like Kim’s bent knee, Kanye’s cocked brow, and North’s deer-in-the-headlight eyes (and her double-wrapped Doc Martens – adorable). The duo even replicates the backgrounds of each shot.
And while Lee may be sporting imitation Bottega and Burroughs a pair of knock-off Louboutin’s, the lengths the two have gone in order to replicate Kimye’s outfits is impressive (and they have the social media support to back it up).

The girls’ Instagram account already has more than 12,000 followers with only 18 posts, and Kardashian, herself, has even “Liked” one of the photos. “The people like us who already like them enjoy it, and the haters enjoy it because they see it as mocking them. We let people think what they want,” Lee said. Our thoughts: We’re into it and can’t wait to see what Kimye and Katye have in store for Halloween.
