Touring a custom-built ‘Up’ house from the Pixar movie
For those of us dreaming of living inside a Pixar movie, a Herriman, Utah house is a brought-to-life fantasy.
A local developer built a replica of the iconic “Up” house, complete with Carl and Ellie’s handprints on the mailbox. For the city’s annual Parade of Homes, brilliant balloons will decorate the cheerful home.
Unfortunately, this home doesn’t fly.
One of Bangerter Homes builders, Blair Bangerter, was inspired to recreate the Disney/Pixar home during a family movie night.
He said in a news release he recognized the “incredible lengths the masters at Disney/Pixar had gone to in creating such a wonderfully presented house and felt like a true-to-life version could be attempted.”
