Temporary teeth tattoos: a new trend?

Remember the UK plumber who had Kate Middleton and Prince William temporarily tattooed on his teeth before the royal wedding? Apparently he started a trend. According to Refinery29, people in Japan are using stick-on teeth tattoos that add temporary designs and stick on bling not unlike those  Sally Hansen Salon Effects nail strips.

Men and women are now rocking diamond shapes, hearts, shooting stars, anchors, and ladybugs on their teeth to express their individuality. Some even match their teeth to their nail design, using a special glue to apply the decals. This trend is admittedly weird, and we're not sure if food will get caught in the designs, but if this finally marks the death of grills then perhaps it's a step in the right direction.
