Amal Alamuddin’s weekend long wedding celebration was done in style. The bride wore Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen, and Dolce & Gabbana. But it was her Oscar de la Renta gown for the moment when she said “I do” that stood out amongst the stunners (as a wedding dress should!). Because Alamuddin is smart and beautiful — and got bachelor George Clooney to settle down — women all over the world will want to copy her nuptial look. Just days after images of the lace gown, which was hand-embroidered with pearls and diamante stones emerged, New York-based designer Isabelle Armstrong released a “celebrity look for less.” The Andrea gown is priced at $7,200 (likely a fraction of the price of Alamuddin’s) features the same lace detail and off-the-shoulder cut as Amal’s dress, only this one is set to retail for about $7,200 — a fraction of what the bride likely paid for her custom look.
