Solange Knowles’s Out of This World Met Ball Ensemble

It looks like Solange Knowles is putting her woes from last year’s Met Ball behind her. The singer/DJ, who famously got into a kerfuffle with Jay Z in an elevator at the Standard Hotel (while her sister, Beyoncé stood idly by and watched), stepped out to the 2015 edition wearing an out of this world dress by the British designer Giles.
Solange loves to experiment with her fashion, and we would expect a look like this from Lady Gaga, but this accordion pleat saucer dress is next level for Bey’s little sister.
Before she hit the red carpet, Solange let her feelings be known about the look. “It’s just f—ing fashion. Have fun. Take risks. But mostly, have fun. : ) ” she tweeted.
We’re not sure what to make of it. The Met Ball is the Oscars of the fashion, and this look is truly experimental, but one wonders how she’s going to eat at the dinner? #FashionProblems.
