While we speculate about what designers the starlets will be wearing to the Oscars, many of us overlook one award show where anything goes — at least when it comes to fashion.
The Grammys tend to be a visual spectacle with celebrities taking every possible opportunity to shock us with wild getups. Fashion critics take a night off and try to embrace even those who jaunt down the red carpet in a dress made of hoola hoops and glow sticks à la Lady Gaga. In fact, questionable style choices are almost lauded on this special night celebrating music’s best.
