Every time our dress or skirt blows up in the wind, we're reminded of Marilyn Monroe's famous scene in "The Seven Year Itch." We could only hope to look as chic as Marilyn while keeping our underpants covered. Well, now you can actually own the very white pleated halter Travilla dress the famous blond wore so well over that subway grate. According to the

Daily Mail, Monroe's "subway dress" is being sold at auction amongst other memorable costumes, and is expected to raise around $2 million.

Actress Debbie Reynolds (she's Carrie Fisher's mother and starred in "Singin' in the Rain" among other films) is selling the dress along with her collection of 3,500 memorabilia items in Beverly Hills on June 18.

For those hoping to get a glimpse of Monroe's "subway dress" and more awesome old Hollywood costumes, Reynold's collection will be on display at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills prior to auction. Other items you'll be able to see include Judy Garland's costume from "The Wizard of Oz," Audrey Hepburn's Ascot dress from "My Fair Lady," Julie Andrews' clothes from "The Sound of Music," Charlie Chaplin's bowler had from "Tramp," and Barbra Streisand's sleeveless gold gown from "Hello, Dolly!"

We wish we were in Beverly Hills to see these fabulous and historic garments. And if we did happen to have $2 million to buy Monroe's "subway dress" we'd totally try it on over a subway grate to reinact the famous scene. And we'd finally find out exactly what size Monroe really was, because there's no way we're buying she was a size 16 or anything bigger than a 10.
