Living in "Return of the Jedi": An Ewok-inspired treehouse 'treesort'

I’ve been mocked — mercilessly, at times — for naming “Return of the Jedi” as my favourite “Star Wars” installment.

I
blame my movie preference on the Ewoks and their charming Ewok village-in-the-trees. (As Liz Lemon would say, “I want to go to there.”)

Maybe
I should be vacationing in Oregon.

In
Takilma, Oregon, Michael Garnier built the Ewok-worthy fantasy-come-to-life Out ‘n’ About Treehouse Treesort, a woodsy bed-and-breakfast village of 18 unique treehouses — and a few child-sized forts — connected by swinging bridges and 20 flights of stairs — and a must-try zipline.

Check out the surprisingly-reasonable rates here.

As for his personal digs, Garnier lives in what’s been considered the world’s largest treehouse, a 1,800-square-foot home supported by seven trees.
