Kaley Cuoco’s not just hilarious on The Big Bang Theory, the actress also maintains a sense of humor about just how much assistance she needs to look Hollywood-ready.

The actress posted a funny split picture of herself on Instagram over the weekend, showing before and after pictures of her getting ready to attend an event. In the before shot, she looks like any one of us probably does when waking up on a Sunday morning: no makeup, a T-shirt, and a horrified look on her face. In the after, with the help of a hairstylist, makeup artist, clothing stylist, and manicurist, she’s chic and pulled together in a cream suit and smoky eye makeup.

She captioned the picture: “Thank god for my team @jamiemakeupgreenberg@clsymonds @taraswennenlifeinstyle @ashlie_johnson

Fans applauded her honesty. “Love that you did this!” Jaci St. John Ciricola wrote. An Instagram user who goes by @tosiaborysek commented, “hahaha you’re so funny and humble :-)”

Last year, Gisele Bundchen posted a similar photo on Instagram to thank her cosmetic team for the help they give her, but instead of being praised, was embroiled in a controversy. The pictured showed her nursing her 1-year-old daughter, Vivian, while simultaneously getting her hair styled, her nails manicured, and her face made up—an image many people saw as an unrealistic representation of what it’s like to be a new mom. “What would I do without this beauty squad after the 15 hours flying and only three hours of sleep #multitasking #gettingready,” she wrote on the shot.

“I think breastfeeding is a very personal thing,” Denise Albert, co-creator of TheMoms.com, told ABC News. “And for her to put this on Instagram while she’s getting her hair and make-up done is a little outrageous, and I think obnoxious.”

In general, though, Instagram has become a place many celebrities feel comfortable showing their natural selves, without makeup (if not without a flattering filter) or prepping for glamorous nights out. Recently, Rihanna, Jennifer Aniston, Beyoncé, and Kim Kardashian have all posted bare-faced shots of themselves.
