Helena Bonham Carter is an eccentric woman, with eccentric tastes, particularly when it comes to clothes. The actress is a red carpet favorite, not because she favors gowns by the likes of Oscar de la Renta or Marchesa, but because we simply don’t know what she will wear next. Despite not being popular on Fashion Police, she’s is adored within the industry for her quirky style; Vanity Fair named her ‘Best Dressed” in 2010, and she has appeared in ad campaigns for Marc Jacobs.
In this week’s installment of T magazine’s ”Take Two,” where they ask two celebrities their opinions on a variety of objects, Bonham Carter reveals her penchant for an odd accessory while figuring out her feelings on an Alexander Wang sneaker-inspired bag, “It’s not really my style, but I’m not a great barometer of taste,” she says, then adding by way of proof, “there’s a cat’s tail I’ve been wearing lately. It helps the silhouette and there’s something sexual about a perky tail.”
Wait, she said what?
We love Bonham Carter because she keeps things interesting in a sea of perfect blondes in perfect sequins and perfect Louboutins that is Hollywood, but we do not need to know about her furry tendencies! HBC, be cool to us!
