Shine OnIs this the world’s smartest dog?
To say that Jumpy the Border Collie is a smart dog is a big understatement.
The stunt dog lives in Los Angeles with his owner and trainer, Omar von Muller, who has impressively trained his furry friend to perform a slew of wildly impressive leaps, flips, balancing acts and listening exercises all executed on a variety of surfaces including land, buildings, skateboards and water.
Jumpy's stunning tricks have been captured on YouTube videos over the past couple years, but his most recent video is worthy of a standing ovation.

It shows Jumpy in a controlled exercise as Omar gives commands that the Border Collie follows to a tee, exhibiting his extensive understanding of human language.
It appears almost as though Omar can control Jumpy like a remote control car, except instead of using a joystick he uses verbal commands to navigate the dog back and forth.
Omar also trains other dogs for a variety of purposes whether to perform in Hollywood films like The Artist or Jackass 3D, for police training or simply to improve table manners.
