Willie the cat wows Internet with toilet paper rolling abilities

What is it with cats unrolling toilet paper?

Sure, it's kinda funny, but for anyone who's had to roll all that T.P. back up onto the cardboard, the habit can lose its cute factor rather quickly.

Unless, of course, your cat knows how to roll the toilet paper back up.

Meet Willie, a tabby who's effectively wowed the internet in a now-viral video captured by his owner, showing him unravel the bathroom tissue, then proudly reverse his paw action to return it all to the roll.

"I was in my bathroom on Tuesday getting ready to take a shower and noticed that he was doing his usual toilet paper schtick, so I decided to get it on camera for once," Michael Thompson, a 29-year-old Michigan web developer, tells the Daily Mail.

Thompson adopted Willie from a local animal shelter two years ago, where he learned that the kitten was abandon in a box at a nearby harbour.

The video shows Willie painstakingly unravel the entire toilet paper roll without shredding it, and then diligently rolls it back up with just as much care.

"That's very helpful, thank you," Thompson chuckles in the video.

"I’m hopeful that the next iteration will be to roll it up and then clean the toilet," he jokes.

Willie's toilet paper unrolling abilities appear to be unmatched by many of his other feline friends captured on video. Talk about a menace in the bathroom!

Since Willie's video was uploaded to YouTube on Wednesday, it has been viewed more than 1.6 million times.

"The internet is valuable tool for humanity and has completely changed communication. But it’s really all about the cats. And has been for a long, long time," reflects Thompson.
