One of the most exciting moments for new parents-to-be aside from finding out their family is soon to expand is sharing the happy news with family and friends.

Couples are increasingly coming up with more and more creative ways to spread the news, and have even taken to capturing their loved-ones' reaction on camera.

This announcement reaction caught on video by reddit user viganickey caught our eye today for just how sweetly excited the grandpa-to-be is.

"Told my dad he is going to be a grandpa," writes Jessica Hickey. "I am his only child and my mother passed away 20 years ago. He has been asking us for grandchildren since our wedding night. I think he is happy. :)"

After opening up a gift box, grandpa-to-be pulls out a pacifier, remarking, "Looks like something you used to suck on when you was little." His daughter quips back, "You should probably read it."

After taking a closer look at the attached tag, he lets out an emotional, "All right!" and can't contain his emotions, wiping away tears.
