Step aside, Kate Middleton: It’s time to get to know Prince Harry’s potential bride, Cressida Bonas

Rumour has it that wedding bells may be in store for Prince Harry and his 24-year-old British socialite girlfriend Cressida Bonas, after a friend reportedly leaked that the couple is getting ready to settle down.

“Cressie is going to marry Harry,” an anonymous friend tells The Telegraph. “Harry never stops talking about marriage and children, and she has now got used to the idea. The wedding is likely to take place next year.”

Things started heating up for the high-profile couple in February, after taking a short break from each other last year when the 29-year-old prince was away on military training and deployment. Since getting back together, they've taken a skiing trip to Switzerland and attended the Boodles Boxing Ball together.

Now that you the couple's backstory, it's time to get a little cozy with the potential future queen. Here are a five things you might now know about Cressida Bonas.

1. Her royal pedigree is darn impressive.

Bonas' mother, Lady Mary-Gaye Curzon, is the daughter of one of King Edward VII's godsons, the 6th Earl Howe, as well as the heir to the Curzon banking fortune. Bonas' father (her mother's third husband) is a well-educated businessman, now working as the chairman of MacCulloch & Wallis, a fine fabric manufacturer.

2. She has a playful, bohemian style.

From velvet scrunchies to sneaker wedges, Bonas' outer appearance is characteristic of her free-spirited nature. She also has a blue sequin blazer that she's bravely worn to weddings and red carpet events.

3. She's cautious when it comes to marriage.

She has reportedly has mixed feelings about Harry's advances to move their relationship into a more serious phase, feeling in the past that she was too young to marry.

“Harry is coming on very strong, but she is all over the place," a friend once claimed. "She thinks she is far too young to get married and is scared by all his talk of marriage and settling down.”

4. She's got artistic talent.

Bonas studied dance at Leeds University, and recently graduated from the Trinity Laban Conservatoire, a music and dance school. Before attending Leeds, she spent a year working at a bar and restaurant in Australia.

5. She's already got some fame.

In October, Bonas landed the cover of Tatler, a British fashion magazine which has an annual compilation of the 100 "most eligible" below-thirty-somethings in London. It was this cover that officially recognized her relationship with the prince, which had previously been kept under wraps.

While the couple have yet to officially acknowledge their relationship having advanced to a more serious level, they recently started showing up to events together rather than arriving and leaving separately, as was done in months prior. On Sept. 30, the couple were seen attending a James Blunt concert together, followed by a showing of The Book of Mormon the following night.
