What’s the most important to online daters looking for love? For people in Alberta and Saskatchewan, it’s knowing if your potential mate is willing to go out for a rip on the four-wheeler.

A new Match.com survey of Canadian singles reveals the most-used words in dating profiles coast to coast — and the results might surprise you.

“Quadding” is the most-used word among those in Alberta and Saskatchewan — they clearly want to take advantage of the rural terrain and want their mates to do the same.

After 15 years with a NHL team, the Winnipeg Jets returned to Manitoba in 2011 — and Manitobans seem to love them more than ever. “Jets” was the most commonly used word in their dating profiles.

In New Brunswick, Canada’s only official bilingual province, residents are quick to flaunt their French-language chops, with “français” being the most-used word there.
