Natural beauty: Jennifer Lawrence smoulders in new Miss Dior ads

Saying that 2013 has been the year of Jennifer Lawrence is an understatement.

The 23-year-old actress wowed us with her talent, charmed us with her quick wit and engaging personality and now, thanks to her new Dior ad campaign, she’s managed to knock us out with her natural beauty.

That’s what you call a Hollywood hat trick.

Fashion fans have long known that Lawrence was tapped as the face of the French fashion house’s young Miss Dior line. This is a big coup for a young actress, since high fashion campaigns are seen as the holy grail of endorsement deals, and a sign one has really "made it" in Hollywood. An Oscar at age 22 is another such sign, mind you.

Her first ads got mixed reviews, but the new set for the Miss Dior autumn/winter 2013 campaign, have improved on the last lot by stripping down the makeup (well, at least by fashion ad standards) and highlighting Lawrence’s expressive face the front-and-centre feature.

The photos also feature a gorgeous grey pea coat from the line’s F/W collection and soft pink chain-link Miss Dior purse. The actress’s hair has been swept off her face in a faux-messy knot.

Though the Photoshop wizards have put in some overtime and for some editorial reason have toned down Lawrence’s freckles, the actress is completely down with the blur tool.

Unlike celebrities who want you to think they wake up looking like flawless, dewy eyed goddesses, the Oscar winner has no qualms about calling it like it is.

"Of course it's Photoshop. People don't look like that," she said of her first veil-heavy Dior ads (via Celebuzz). "I love Photoshop more than anything in the world."

Never change, Jennifer Lawrence. Never change.
