Naomi Campbell’s tiered dress: fashion hit or miss?

It’s no doubt supermodel Naomi Campbell is a fashion queen – but recently she wore a dress that left us scratching our heads.

Campbell, 43, attended the Novak Djokovic Foundation gala at The Roundhouse in London, U.K. on Monday evening.

Campbell donned a long, tiered black dress by Alaïa. We love the simple, classic cut of the top – but the bottom looks a little more like a lampshade than a dress.

Apparently, Alaïa is one of Campbell’s go-to fashion brands, and she’s been spotted numerous times wearing the unique designs.

This winter, Campbell hit the red carpet wearing another odd, floor-length design by the same brand. Shortly after that, she wore a mini-dress version that we think was much more fun and flattering.

Maybe a mini version of this tiered dress is next up for Campbell? While the floor-length version is a little much, a ‘20s-style mini dress would be just right.

Although we have to admit, if anyone can pull off this daring dress, it’s Campbell. She kept the rest of her look simple with slicked back hair and minimal jewelry.
