More quirky movie-themed engagement photos

A 30-year-old Ohio man and his fiancée decided to recreate popular movie scenes for their engagement photos -- and the results are nothing short of creative genius.

Nerdy video game reporter, Jeff Grubb, superimposed images of himself and fiancée Stephanie into scenes of their favourite films, including "Ghostbusters," "Back to the Future" and "Jaws." The couple used costumes from Goodwill and household props to recreate the images, some of which are animated and others which use movie stills.

Last week, Jeff posted the photos to Reddit with the caption: "F*** it. I'm getting married Saturday. Here are my crappy engagement photos."

It took Jeff and Stephanie two days of photographing, but ultimately much longer for Jeff to alter the photos into quirky masterpieces.

“It still took a lot of time to set them up and get everything to look similar to what you see in the films or posters,” Grubb tells the Daily Dot. “The editing also took forever."

The couple married this past Saturday at Amelita Mirolo Barn in Columbus, Ohio.
