Out pops the best birthday gift ever: her dad, Joshua Carr, back from a tour in Afghanistan.

"What did you get for your birthday?" Bridget's mother asks.
The elated little girl, clinging to her father, has no words.
"Daddy comes back," the teary mother answers for her.
