Katy Perry tweets pic of her insane vitamin collection

Singer Katy Perry may have a vocal range of enormous proportions, but it's questionable whether it even comes close to the stunning depth of her massive vitamin collection.

On Thursday, she tweeted the below picture of her holding three large ziplock bags full of vitamin pills she takes three times a day, labeled "Upon Rising," "Breakfast" and "Dinner."

To her credit, it appears like each large bag is filled with several small ones -- so we assume she's not taking all these vitamins every day. Perhaps the little bags are for each day of the week.

Phew. Because if we hadn't know better we might have assumed all manner of swift reaction from the medical community condemning her vitamin regime as overboard and unhealthy.

Oh wait, U.K. celebrity physical trainer Subodh Gupta already has.

"If Katy needs to take so many vitamins and supplements additionally that means either her diet is very unhealthy or she may be harming herself with an overdose," he writes.

Again, we don't actually know how many vitamins Perry is taking every day.

But yes, it's true, she might want to be careful and make sure she doesn't overdose on vitamins. While exceptionally rare and difficult to diagnose, here are a few signs to look out for according to WebMD.

"These fairly mild symptoms may include difficulty sleeping or concentrating, nerve problems such as numbness or tingling, or feeling more irritable -- depending on the nutrient that's going overboard," the website states.

Perry, known for her healthy lifestyle, meditates every morning and follows the Five Factor diet, which means every meal should include protein, complex carbohydrates, fiber, fat, and fluids. The diet also involves five meals a day, with recipes that contain no more than five ingredients, or take no more than five minutes of prep time and five minutes of cooking time.

"When I was on the road, I liked to have a light soup, a piece of grilled chicken and some quinoa with grilled asparagus for dinner," she tells People. "I loved fresh-pressed juices and coconut water."

"I also love snacks, but pick healthier options like veggies and hummus or tangerines. Eating healthy is so important because I can't afford to get sick."
