Kate Middleton really loves colourful coatdresses.

Red, pink, yellow, orange, green, blue, purple…the list goes on and on. We’ve seen the Duchess of Cambridge paint a rainbow with her wardrobe for years.

On Thursday, the Duchess of Cambridge showed off the latest addition to her technicolour dreamcoat collection when she made her first public appearance since the royal tour of Australia and New Zealand.

Prince George’s mom sported a stunning red ombré coat by Jonathan Saunders, a Scottish designer that Kate also wore during her trip Down Under. She paired the $2,700 coat with a matching red dress by Goat.

From the stunning green Catherine Walker coatdress she wore last month in New Zealand to the pale pink Alexander McQueen number she wore at her last public appearance before giving birth to Prince George last year, we’ve rounded up some of our favourite of Kate’s colourful coats.
