New dad films one second a day of his wife’s pregnancy
New dad Danny Pier recently uploaded a video capturing one second of each day of his wife's pregnancy.
Watch the sweet countdown to his daughter's arrival above.
He announced the birth of his daughter, Lucy Jude Pier, on his aptly named site: Is Baby Pier Here Yet?

Pier's video went viral after it got the attention of Buzzfeed writers — and of actress Patricia Heaton, who tweeted about it.
@PatriciaHeaton thanks for sharing our video! We are huge fans of Raymond and The Middle, how cool!

Pier individually thanked fans on Twitter this week, but insists that he didn't make the video for online fame, but as a memento for his baby girl one day.
"It went a bit viral today, and that's cool, but I'm way more excited for her to have this years from now!" he tweeted on Friday.

He says his "9 Months in 5 Minutes" was inspired by the video "2011," which captured one second a day in a year of a woman's life.
This isn't the first viral video capturing a pregnancy we've seen here.
Earlier this summer, a Latvian couple posted a stop-motion video that chronicled their nine-month countdown to parenthood.
And last year, a baby girl made her grand entrance in an equally charming time-lapse pregnancy video.
Moms, how did you celebrate your pregnancy? Videos? Scrapbooks? Journals?
