Couple’s ‘Dirty Dancing’ wedding video goes viral

Terra and Drake Otto's first dance video is gathering a lot of buzz, after the Minnesota couple decided to recreate the iconic dance scene from 1987's "Dirty Dancing" movie as a surprise for the guests at their summer wedding.

Since being posted on Aug. 30, the video has reeled in over 1.7 million YouTube views and more than 100 comments.

"We both just about died," Terra's mother tells ABC about the moment both her and the groom's mother realized what was happening.

Only members of the wedding party knew about the planned routine.

The newlyweds took lessons to learn the dance made famous by Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze, and it shows -- they seem to effortlessly nail the choreography. In the dance's finale, Drake lifts Terra up above his shoulders, spinning her around several times in a move that gives Swayze a run for his money.

The bride is reportedly such a fan of the film that she broke her VHS copy after watching it too many times.
