Couple adorably re-creates 1975 wedding photos for 40th anniversary

When it seems like everyone around us is divorcing (R.I.P Bennifer version 2.0, R.I.P. Miranda and Blake), it’s nice to see evidence that marriage doesn’t have to end in heartbreak.

Reddit user magic976 posted some heartwarming photos of his parents, who recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.

To commemorate the occasion, the couple re-created two cute photos from their 1975 wedding day.

The original photos were taken at the Redditor’s grandparents’ house while the re-creations were taken at the couple’s home, where they’ve lived for the past 30 years. But other than that – and a motorcycle upgrade – the photos are pretty spot-on, right down to the clothing.

“Yes, it’s the same wedding dress and jacket my mom made for my dad,” the user wrote.

If a custom-made jacket isn’t love, we don’t know what is.
