Chin up! British makeup artist wows on Instagram

London-based makeup artist Laura Jenkinson, 25, doesn't just make people look their best, she also makes her chin look like famous cartoon characters.

Her Instagram account has to be one of the coolest we've seen in a while, filled with photos of beloved Disney, Pixar and Looney Tunes characters painted around her mouth.

When she smiles, so do they.

"I'd seen loads of other fantastic make-up artists on Instagram and I wanted to do something similar and on a bigger scale so I started doing about one a week," she tells the Daily Mail.

Using theatrical makeup — and the occasionally tube of lipstick — Jenkinson insists her method is actually quite simple.

"I find a picture and then just hold it up to the mirror as a guide and draw straight onto my face — it's easier than you think! Ironically, drawing onto someone else is more difficult — I think it's more straightforward drawing onto my own face."

While it's tough to pick favourites, we're pretty enamoured with her takes on Aladdin's Geniecreated as a tribute to the late, great Robin Williams — Frozen's Olaf, Stitch, Goofy, Timon (and Pumbaa), Beauty and the Beast's Lumière, Nemo, and an upside-down-chin version of Wallace, from Wallace and Gromit.

(Mr. T is pretty great, too.)

With the viral attention these photos have received this week, Jenkinson plans to thank her fans with a behind-the-scenes look at her "lip-arts."

"For the next one I will do a time lapse of each step so you can see how I create each character from start to finish," she promises fans on her blog.
