Canadian singer Sarah Blackwood says she was kicked off a United Airlines flight on Wednesday because of her crying two-year-old son.

The Walk Off The Earth singer, who was understandably furious about the experience, took to Twitter on Wednesday night to voice her anger:

According to the Toronto Star, the musician and her son were removed from United Airlines flight 6223 from San Francisco to Vancouver, operated by SkyWest airlines, after “being warned three times that her child must stop crying.”

Because as anyone who’s ever travelled with small children knows, that’s super easy.

Toronto-based musician Scott Helman was on the same flight. He called it “total bulls--t.”

Unsurprisingly, he was far from the only Twitter user to rush to Blackwood’s defense:

According to the Star, SkyWest confirmed that a woman was removed from the flight when her child “could not be secured for takeoff.”

“We are committed to making travel safe and enjoyable for the families who fly with us,” airline spokeswoman Marissa Snow told the newspaper. “For the safety of all onboard, federal regulations require that all passengers be seated for take-off."

This isn’t the first time United has come under fire.

Earlier this month, an Oregon mom claimed her family was kicked off a flight because of her autistic daughter.

And in March, a Canadian mom made international headlines when she said a flight attendant harassed her because she was breastfeeding.
