Bride relives wedding by wearing dress 148 times in 19 countries

Jennifer Salvage has worn her wedding dress a whopping 148 times in the past five years – and that's not including the wedding.

The 42-year-old woman from Bedford, N.J. has travelled to 19 countries with her husband, a photographer, since 2008, all with her iconic white gown stuffed in a backpack.

At every location they see, Jennifer changes into her dress and poses for her husband's camera. The result? A spectacular collection of 148 photos featuring Jennifer and her dress with some of the world's most beautiful scenes in the background.

“We want to share the view of the world through the eyes of a bride,” Jennifer's husband, Jeff, explains. “Being a bride is your happiest day until you have kids. We relive that day over and over.”

The idea to photograph Jennifer around the world was spurred days after their wedding on the remote location of Easter Island. He photographed their wedding and continued to photograph Jennifer in her gown the following day as they travelled across the island together.

The couple shares each photo on their blog, One Dress, One Woman, One World, and have created a coffee table book to share their images with fellow travel photography enthusiasts with a flare for romance.

The pair have just recently returned from Greece and Russia with plans already in the works for trips to Singapore, Thailand and Cambodia next summer.
