Another awesome ‘Star Wars’ wedding photo

Star Wars fans are coming out this season with epic movie-themed wedding photos beyond wild proportions.

First there was bride Maggie Clarke who put her groomsmen in a Darth Vader choke hold in a wicked wedding photo. Then there was Toronto couple Leslie Seiler and Paul Kingston who gained media attention because of their incredible wedding photo showing their bridal party being chased by AT-AT walkers.

And now, say hello to Michigan couple John and Mindy Doychich. On July 12, they were captured in a "Star Wars"-themed wedding photo, showing fierce determination and preparation for battle against AT-AT walkers and the Death Star.

The shot was taken by photographer Steven Kowalski who posted it to Reddit on Tuesday. It has since seen over 160,00 views and 200 comments.

"They had mentioned wanting to do something different," Kowalski tells the Huffington Post. "I had the idea for them to be looking up at an epic battle."

The idea for the photo was born when he learned the nerdy couple and "Star Wars" fans had a replica of Luke Skywalker's lightsaber. He snapped the photo looking over Lake Michigan, then spent six to seven hours editing it.

John and Mindy consider themselves uber-geeks and are into anything nerdy, including "Doctor Who." They even served a groom's cake in the shape of "Star Wars" character Boba Fett.
