Giuliana Rancic is 'Babymooning' in Denver, Waiting for the Arrival of Her Son!

According to People, the power couple known as Bill and Giuliana Ranic has decided to head to the mountains and hang out in Colorado for the month of August just in case their first son via surrogate-who is due in Denver in six weeks-decides to come into the world a little early. The Rancics made the decision to have a baby via surrogate after Giuliana was diagnosed with breast cancer and required a double mastectomy. It was their Denver-based fertility doctor that suggested the procedure when they ran a routine mammogram before Giuliana went through with invitro fertilization. Because of this, the Ranic's already have a strong connection with the state of Denver, which in return helped ease any fears that Bill and Giuliana had when picking a surrogate. "Giuliana was more concerned about the surrogate eating fried chicken," Bill joked to an audience of 600 at the Vail Breast Cancer Awareness Group luncheon the couple attended on Sunday. "I'm not worried about her eating fried chicken - I'm worried about her smoking crack."

But with Denver being such a clean, healthy state, the couple's fears seemed to melt away.

"Clean living here," Bill said. "I felt much better. The water - everything about this state - is great." Giuliana agreed by repeating the mantra, "It has to be Colorado or bust."

As an extra bonus, the Style Network stars say they feel extremely close to the woman carrying their son as well. The 30-year-old French surrogate is a former au pair and has been around children her whole life, something that is extremely important to Giuliana when picking a surrogate.

"For anyone who's thought about surrogacy, it is scary," Giuliana said. "It's like having a babysitter 24 hours a day for nine months."

The parents-to-be are already busy picking out a baby name for their future son, ranging anywhere from NFL quarterbacks to a name like "Vail" or "Denver." The two agree, however, that they don't want a Hollywood-esque name such as "Pink Sky." Also Read: The 5 Worst Celebrity Moms: Who Takes The Cake?

Regardless of the name, the Rancics already know that their son will have a huge impact on their lives and already has, along with millions of others as well. "That kid is going to be one very special kid, because not only did he save your life," Bill said to Giuliana, "but as a result of this whole process - had we never gone through IVF, we would never have found out (about her cancer)."

"You going public (with the news)," he added, "this little guy that we're going to have has probably saved hundreds of women's lives because he will have motivated them to go out and get checked and be proactive."
