Pippa Middleton Wears Duchess Catherine's Engagement Dress

This weekend Pippa Middleton attended her friend Camilla Hook's wedding in a dress that looked extremely familiar. The knee-length silk jersey wrap dress is, in fact, the same Issa
frock her sister Catherine wore for her royal engagement announcement back in November 2010.

We scoured the internet for the Issa Forever dress, and realized it has been renamed. Net-a-porter.com is selling a Royal Engagement silk-jersey dress for $555 in poppy red. It is currently sold out in all sizes except size 8. MyTheresa.com is selling the dress in pomegranate (we believe that's the color Pippa wore) for $536. It's currently available in sizes 6 and 8, but all other sizes have a waiting list.

The Issa wrap dress is a universally flattering style the accentuates curves and a narrow waist. Both Duchess Catherine and Pippa accessorized with basic black pumps. They really are style sisters!

While perhaps Kate Middleton's photo was a more memorable occasion, the wedding Pippa attended was a remarkable one as well. According to the Daily Mail, Pippa's pal Camilla (they met at a cookery course in 2002) married actor Sam Holland, who survived the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami and is the grandson of Oscar-winning film director Lord Attenborough. Holland lost his mother, sister, and grandmother in the disaster, and credits his new wife as helping him get through tough times. Middleton was happy to support and celebrate her friend's union on her big day, and we think she looked smashing doing so.
