Ladies, in case you didn't know, it's New York Fashion Week (NYFW) -- and some of the world's hottest designers are showcasing their Spring 2014 collections. Each day, one of our fashion editors will be sharing their favorite moments from inside the trenches. Today, Accessories Editor Amber Herring shows us her favorite moments from today's shows. One thing we learned today? It's all about the extras. Amber would totally agree -- check out the fierce heels and bag she rocked today.

THE EXTRAS TAKE CENTER STAGE: At Tory Burch (pictured above), we couldn't keep our eyes off of this statement necklace, adorable backpack (you'll see a lot of these come spring!) and that a beaded flat can be far fancier (and comfortable) than a stiletto.

COMFORT RULES: At Marc by Marc Jacobs, a bevy of satin and sparkly looks hit the runway. The best part, though? Almost every look was paired with sneakers. Spring, we're all over this trend.
