Blake Lively to Wear Similar Kate Middleton Dress on Gossip Girl Premiere
It's almost time, Upper East Siders! Gossip Girl returns for its final season October 8th, and we have a sneak peek at Blake Lively's premiere look-a dress almost identical to the one Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge wore to the Olympics Concert back in May. The showrunners must be determined to continue the royal storyline from last season, because the lemon, lace dress (newlywed!) Blake was spotted in is taken from Jenny Packham's spring 2012 runway, and so is the bespoke teal creation Packham designed for the Duchess. (And this isn't the first time the Gossip Girls worked one of Kate's Packham dresses-check out this one that Blair wore.) We can only hope that after last season's royal wedding, complete with Kate and Pippa-inspired dresses, there's more princess style-and story lines-to come for our favorite Manhattanites this season.
