Poll: Would You Play Chloe Sevigny’s Violin Dress?

We always knew Chloë Sevigny was fit as a fiddle, but we didn't think we'd ever see her wear one.

The "American Horror Story" star has long been active in the fashion world – even designing and modeling in her own show during New York Fashion Week last month – and is known for making risky choices that don't always work out. Still, she had us singing an all new song when she turned up at the 60 Years of Chloé party at Barneys New York Wednesday night wearing a black dress with a big, golden, sparkly violin adorning the front.

The dress, a reissue of a 1983 Karl Lagerfeld design for the French design house being honored for the evening, remains completely on trend today, especially with the sleek and sexy cutouts following the shape of the instrument on the sides and glamorous gold beadwork that goes up to the high-necked top.

The fabulous frock – which does not come with a matching bow accessory – is one of 16 pieces the label is reissuing in honor of its 60th anniversary. Unfortunately, such a dress is set to the tune of $3,695 or more.
