It is in no way scientific, but I personally believe all parents spend approximately 67 years of our lives listening to, calming, and half-covering our ears from crying babies. That doesn't even count the times we sob along with them. Perhaps this is why we're all so hopelessly addicted to videos of someone's baby caught in a fit of giggles Yes, someone else's baby. Not yours, not mine. Nooooo...our kids have jimmied himself inside a clutter-filled closet to wail over the fact that we've run out of pizza-flavored fishy crackers and now only rainbow-colored fishy crackers remain.
First there was the sweet little baboo who found daddy ripping paper to be Chris Rock-worthy hilarity. Now there's this pumpkin, not even paying mind to being imprisoned in his exersaucer because his mommy's doing something pretty frightening/chubby, little knee-slapping funny/slightly shudder-worthy.
You might think it's some great parent entertainment trick, but it's snot. *
