Video: Boys dump flour all over house in an unusually uniformly messy way

That two little boys could easily make an epic mess with a five-pound bag of flour is a no-brainer, but did they? Viewers are questioning whether or not a recent viral video is legit.

The video is shot from the point of view of their stunned and muttering mom and shows the naughty rug rats frisking in an indoor sandstorm of flour. There's white stuff spread about the floor, couches, and side tables. It is even piled in little drifts on the tops of picture frames.

The house is certainly trashed with what sure looks like real flour. But what's suspicious is how evenly the powdery substance is distributed around the room and how chipper the boys seem--even after they are busted. Anyone who has ever caught a little kid in the middle of some really heinous transgression (or who has been caught themselves) knows how quickly the fun can turn into a blubbering freak out.

Viewers are also suspicious because YouTube has removed comments on the video, but Mary Napoli, the mom behind the video camera, says she removed them on purpose. She assured us that the video is real: "We turned off the comments because they were getting increasingly mean and vulgar." She added, "It's mostly cleaned up now--lol!"

Take a look and tell us what you think.

Fake. The flour is far too uniform and neat....just a light even dusting everywhere. I'm sure if the kids really did it, it would be in piles. They are just playing with the remnants of the flour in the bag.

If I were to walk in and see that mess, I would be bleeping all over the place. Certainly not calm. I'll stick with my cats, thank you.

I'm pretty sure no parent would pull out a video camera if their kids make a massive mess with flour, and most parents would probably be yelling not just saying 'oh my gosh' ... how fake.

I totally agree, this is staged, but I do want to add that my 2 year old son got into my flour once, but it ended up being in just a pile around him on the floor in the kitchen! Based on my experience, this woman staged this! And with my experience, I never said "oh gosh", I actually laughed and got the camera out. Something for when he meets a girl! :)

kids can not act. So showing the empty flour pack to mom to see- as mommy told to play with them! "you can fool some people sometime bt you can't fool all the people all the time-Bob Marley"

My kid made a HUGE mess with a big container of cornstarch baby powder, and it was literally stuck to some of the walls. It was EVERYWHERE! And yes, I ran and got my camera. He has a Youtube channel, so hey. lol

I don't know about anyone else, but as a mother I would not have been that calm and saying oh my gosh and then keep recording. And not once did she tell them to stop. I have a gut feeling it was set up cause no one in their right mind stays that calm with a mess like that.

Well said!!! I would definitely not have let them continue frolicking in the mess just in order to video it and be so calm about it. Anyone count how many times she muttered "oh my gosh". Load of bull and fake!!!!!

Oh My Gosh? Really? I'd be screaming some big F-bombs if I walked into that mess! Not Oh My Gosh!

      Common sense time.
      1. Uniform dispersment of flour.
      2. Happens to have the video camera ready?
      3. No legitimate sense of astonishment or anger.
      4. The ready tag line.. looks like a snow man threw up in here.
      Verdict: Clearly fake and pathetic

She didn't answer her kids when they asked her what was wrong ether
I think that if they did it she would have said look at what you've done or something like that

i guess these days people will use their kids for almost anything to receive attention or their 15 seconds of fame. Pathatic.

That's funny...I didn't see her on the video or her name posted anywhere!

    • W C  •  6 months ago
yaaaa, this is so set up. look at the level of flour spread uniformly on the back of each couch....that is the tell tale sign here. we should call CSI and have them investigate, and the mother should get off the valium......I would have f bombed that many times!! not to mention, stopped the rug rats from mopping this stuff arround on their way to happiness... FAKE VIDEO here folks....thanks yahoo.

I take care of my 3year old and 1 1/2 year old grandchildren, they are both very busy, active kids...but this would be a stretch for both of them!!!! Something smells fishy to me???? I agree....FAKE!!!
    • LibbyZ  •  6 months ago
this is not a realistic response...I have raised two boys...have always been a calm mom but I would have flipped seeing this mess...she didn't raise her voice once?? barely questioned them? continued to film? such uniform disbursement of the flour? don't think so!! maybe hoping to get on Ellen??
    • geronimo  •  6 months ago
why isn't she stopping the children from continuing and the camera seems a little too suspicious
    • Virginia  •  6 months ago
I have children and THIS it is a FAKE! the flour is too evenly distributed on the couches with no foot or hand prints for climbing or for maintaining balance.
    • baaam  •  6 months ago
      Hahaha. So fake.

They were told to play in the flour mommy dumped. And then they are totally flummoxed when she keeps asking what they are doing.
      Pure fraud.
