Teva Makes Perfect Vacation Sneakers

As you read this I am not actually in Canada but vacationing—and tying the knot—in Costa Rica! Before I left I got a preview of Teva’s spring collection. To be honest, it’s a brand I haven’t thought much about since I was a teenager and coveted a pair of the velcro three-strap sandals but I was pleasantly surprised by their evolution.

I got the Fuse-ions, $120 (above). They have great traction—so no slipping on wet rocks—and are water-resistant and dry to the touch in seconds.

Because the brand ambassadors knew about my trip, they generously gifted my fiancé and I shoes perfect for an adventurous vacation. My fiancé got the Gnarskosi sneakers, $130. They have drainage holes so are perfect for waterfall hikes and impromptu jumps into the ocean.

So they’re not the usual shoes I drool over. No wedge or heel, no sparkle or hardware but as far as functional sneakers go, I’d say they’re pretty cute!
