Yesterday in the iVillage Canada office we held our inaugural taste-test competition. This week's item up for comparison? The strawberry-banana smoothie!

Tim Horton's/Coldstone Creamery, Lifestyle Smoothie, (sm) 4.19
Starbucks, Strawberry Banana Smoothie, (one size) 4.45
Timothy's World Coffee, Strawberry Banana Smoothie, (sm) 3.95
McDonald's, Strawberry Banana Smoothie, (sm) 2.69
The results:
Tim's Smoothie: Nice light pink colour with smooth texture, but we're looking for a fruitier taste.
Starbucks Strawberry Banana: Thick and creamy with strong banana flavour, and not too sweet! Seemed like a more wholesome choice.
Timothy's Strawberry Banana: This one is more of an iced-slush smoothie, deep pink and tart.
McDonald's Strawberry Banana: Very sweet and creamy—a refreshing indulgence.
