Or you could squeeze a lemon into a huge glass of gin and tonic.

one use no one has ever heard of, old age spots on the hands and face regular washing with a pure lemon juice really washes the colours out as people get old they have mole or strange marks on their faces a regular wash with the lemon peel squeezed onto the mole will eventually shrink the mole to nothing.

So many people repeat this kind of shit, they have never actually tried it themselves, they just read it on useless sites exactly like this one, and then go around repeating it.

Lemons can be used to polish brass and silver...try cleaning the kitchen sink with the lemon that has been floating in the drinking water...does a great job! And you were going to discard it! They are also lovely as decor in a bowl gracing the kitchen counter or the dinner table!

That I didn't know Con.. Thanks for the tip. I use vinegar in the final rinse cycle of my laundry. That brightens the colours too, and gets rid of the soap residue.

Yes it does work wonders for silver, there is this one rest. we frequent, and we use the lemon slices to clean/polish the silver before we eat. Not that its dirty, but their d/w doesn't get the spots off!

Hey people, lemons are a part of the acid family, oranges, grapefruits etc. Your body needs this just to survive, and these are also a part of our diet against cancers, diabitus, and many more maladies, so just eat right

Viewed all the so-called new uses -- None of these are new. All of them have been around for at least 60 years.

Adding several teaspoons to a litre of water will prevent the formation of kidney stones. l've had 7 kidney stone attacks and since l have started using lemon in water. l haven't had a kidney stone attack. Been a year!
