All natural peanut butter made with peanuts or peanuts and safflower oil without any hydrogenated fat, preservatives and sugar is the healthy types of peanut butter.

There's nothing healthy about safflower oil...I prefer the all-natural peanut butter which is made with only peanuts....Sure the peanuts are roasted, which isn't ideal, but that's about as much compromise as I'm willing to make in a 'nut' butter

All foods are not good for you! Research, research and research. Why do you think doctors are going into Asian countries and telling them not to eat pork? Not good for you! Nor shell fish! Then again, some people do not care. You can get sick and more......

I like a peanutbutter sandwich every now and then sprinkled with a bit of sugar. Yum, helps give me energy for the remainder of the day.

The food industry needs to get the picture. Just look at these comments! The public does not want, salt, chemicals (over 700 chemicals can be labeled spices) sugar, low quality fats, genetically modified grains and fruits and now fish and chemical additives in their food!! Read the label, boycott these health thieves!!

there is a reason they don't listen. many big food business' are in bed with pharmaceutical companies. they add preservatives, additives, and dyes into our foods causing health problems which make us turn to pharmaceutical drugs to help fight symptoms. Pharmaceutical companies and the food business' are getting rich from our illness'.

Overthehill, that's a really good point you made. Yeah it' all about the $ with these so-called "caring" heath industries. Health problems are money making opportunities and cancer, for instance is an Industry in itself.

natural peanut butter is great...as mentioned here already. no transfats, sugars, salt. did u know that all peanut butters (minus natural) contain artery clogging transfats? not enough transfats to report in the ingredients but enough to stiffen the pb so the natural peanut oils do not seperate and float to the top. kraft pb makes natural pb but charges premium price. imagine, kraft charges us a significant charge for them not to put harmful ingredients in pb and then insults us by putting "healthier" pb in smaller tubs than their regular pb tubs. check it out next time at the grocery store.
