Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, in Alexander McQueen for the Queen's Jubilee celebration
The line-up of celebrations for the Queen's Jubilee are just getting started in London with the Pageant on the Thames featuring 1,000 boats from around the world. The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh, along with the Royal Family were all present to celebrate the big day.
Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, donned a stunning head-to-toe red frock (which paired nicely with the Queen's white ensemble and Prince William in royal navy), by the one-and-only Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. Similar to the style she wore by Emilia Wickstead, featuring a cheerleader skirt and long sleeves, Middleton stood out on the Thames alongside the Royal Family. And for those who have forgotten, McQueen was the same label that dressed Middleton for her wedding day. Plus, the look reminded us of the one she wore on her last day in Canada.
The Duchess finished her look with a custom hat by Sylvia Fletcher at James Lock & Co. and few unconfirmed pieces including what is said to be a matching clutch by McQueen and scarf by Burberry.
Fun Fact: Middleton's not the first to wear this Fall/Winter 2011 design by the house of McQueen. Kim Kardhasian and UK pop star Tulisa Contostavlos also wore this number last year. But in true royal style, the Duchess made it her own with longer sleeves (to beat the chill).
