Inside Toronto's New Louis Vuitton Flagship

Leading French fashion house Louis Vuitton hops across Toronto's Mink Mile from its original petite shop on Bloor to a massive two-floor Maison across from Canada's iconic Royal Ontario Museum. After weeks of anticipation, the house of Vuitton has finally opened its doors to top clients and fashion lovers to and expanded assortment of leather goods, ready-to-wear and accessories for women and men.

Designed by top New York architect Peter Marino, the space features everything from leather ceilings and rails to the label's signature floral motif on its exterior which illuminates at night.

Alongside its covetable bags, shoes and fine jewellery, Vuitton's new location also features art and installations by top Canadians. Shary Boyle and James Nizam are the first to be featured in the Maison, part of which will be rotating throughout the seasons. Spot Boyle's porcelain figures just steps from the entrance while Nizam's photographs hang above the men's bag bar.

For the first time ever, Canadian clients can custom design their own Vuitton bag inside the store's Haute Maroquinerie. With 40 thousand possibilities, ladies are welcome to choose from one of five bags (Noé, Triangle, Lock-it, Milaris and the Neo Steamer) amongst eight unique leathers and 26 colours to create an icon all their own. Louis Vuitton Maison Toronto is now open, located at 150 Bloor Street West
