Halle Berry vs. Miranda Kerr — Fashion Faceoff
Gorgeous Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry has often taken on the role of model. Her earliest acting gig was playing a model on the show "Living Dolls," a 1989 "Who's the Boss?" spin-off that only lasted for 12 episodes, and she's continued to strike poses in photo shoots for countless magazine spreads and for Revlon ads. Today, however, she'd better get ready for battle against someone who's one of the most successful models in the world: Miranda Kerr, the Victoria's Secret model that ranked No. 7 on Forbes magazine's latest list of the highest paid models. According to the list, which came out in July, the leggy Australian raked in $4 million between May 2011 and May 2012. One of Kerr's wardrobe changes during that busy year include Roland Mouret's Galaxy dress in black — the exact garment that sometimes-model Berry chose 18 months later. Berry, 46, rocked the frock at Variety's annual Power of Women event in Beverly Hills on October 5. The "Cloud Atlas" star was honored at the fete for her work with The Jennesse Center, a domestic violence organization in South Los Angeles. Berry emphasized her tiny waist by adding a black belt to the look, and wore diamond earrings and black pumps by Jimmy Choo.

Kerr, 29, debuted the dress at NYC's Tribeca Film Festival, where she was supporting her movie star husband Orlando Bloom, in April 2011. The brunette beauty pulled back her tresses, and donned the design with a Lanvin bag and hot pink pumps by Christian Louboutin.

So how do the competitors size up? Berry was wise to add a belt, but I wish her dress was a little shorter. Meanwhile, Kerr's bright lipstick and heels added a pop of color to an otherwise dark ensemble, yet she could have done without the shoulder bag. I say Kerr might take Berry down on the runways, but Berry is the winner of this particular fashion battle. Do you agree?
