Plaid flannel shirts are trendy this fall, but they're also extremely practical. They're warm, comfy, good for  layering, and typically affordable. In the past we've picked up this cold-weather staple at retail outlets like L.L. Bean and Urban Outfitters. We've also scored great plaids at thrift stores and our boyfriend's closets, because worn in flannel rules.

That said, we really don't understand this Anachronorm Damaged Flannel Work Shirt. Just like those pre-shredded jeans we hate, this plaid button down comes with ugly strategic rips and patches that somehow elevate the price to an insane $609. Anyone in the market for a fancy "damaged" flannel? It's available for sale at End Clothing. Thanks to Refinery29 for tipping us off.
