For spring, Marni’s founder and creative director Consuelo Castiglioni has created a clothing and accessories collection for men and women, all at H&M’s budget-friendly prices, allowing mere mortals like us to add some Marni to our closet. The line features playful prints, vivid colours, and elegant silhouettes with swingy silk and crisp cotton dresses, pants and blouses for women, plus a subtly stylish men’s line.

    Drinks by the pool in Palm Springs? Yes, please! The new Banana Republic Trina Turk Collection features flirty little frocks, printed tunics and plush beach towels, all inspired by the SoCal lifestyle. Sophisticated yet completely breezy, the nearly 60-piece resort collection has ‘must-have’ written all over it. Just don’t mix your cocktails with online shopping...yikes!

    French label Sandro has always been about refined, easy-to-wear elegance with a bohemian edge; Seems only fitting that they’ve teamed up with boho babe Dree Hemingway for its latest collaboration. The streetstyle star, model and actress (oh, and great granddaughter of Ernest Hemingway), brings a distinctly American twist to 10 key Sandro pieces, featuring loose blousons, ikat-print dresses and cool tees and jeans. Pieces range between $150 and $425, so they’re not exactly giving the stuff away.

    When GapKids and babyGap announced plans for a new Diane von Furstenberg collection in June, the fashion world rejoiced, imagining their mini-me’s decked out in signature wrap dresses and cool mix-and-match tribal prints. Now that pictures of the collection have surfaced, it’s clearly been well worth the wait; Little patchwork blazers, laser-cut dresses and funky printed hi-tops will have in-the-know moms queuing up this March, hoping to score a little piece of DVF.

And because it’s Reitmans, versatility and accessibility are top-of-mind, with styles available in Petite, Plus and regular sizes, and a mostly under-$100 price point.

    ALDO RISE, the brand’s fashion week collaboration program, allows fashion designers to create and showcase the footwear for their shows. After several successful collaborations the ALDO RISE line-up for spring is impressive: pixelated neon prints from Preen, stripes and feathers from JW Anderson, Cy Twombley-inspired graphics from Libertine, and metallic tribal glam from Mark Fast. You’ll quite literally be swept off your feet.

    With Chanel perched cozy at the top of fashion’s totem pole, owning a Lagerfeld creation has always been well out of our league; but with his accessible new KARL collection at Net-a-Porter, fashion fans can finally get a piece of the action, with biker vests, edgy blazers, skinny jeans and logo tees emblazoned with images of Karl (but, of course), all in shades of black, white and silver. The line isn’t exactly cheap, but it’s still the least expensive way to get ‘Kaisered’ that we’ve ever seen.

    A woman can never own too many pairs of shoes so we’re happy Payless is here to help add to our ever-growing collection without breaking the bank.     After launching three successful designer collaborations last fall, Danier is forging two new exciting capsule collections for spring: an accessory collection by Philip Sparks, and the not-surprising return of OBJECT by George Antonopoulos. The Philip Sparks for Danier collection is made up of nostalgic-feeling men’s accessories. Meanwhile, the OBJECT by George Antonopoulos collection is minimalist and modern, with key pieces in fun punchy pastels and sophisticated colour-blocking, plus an expanded accessories collection.

    Mary Katrantzou perpetually wows fashion aficionadas with her bold use of head-to-toe prints and edgy silhouettes, while in ‘real life’ celebs like Keira Knightley, Alexa Chung and Solange Knowles choose Katrantzou’s confections to stand out on the red carpet. When word spread that Katrantzou would be designing a collection for Topshop, everyone wondered if her wow aesthetic might be watered down, yet after seeing a Twitpic of the first dress, it’s clearly going to be far more runway than real way.
