Overweight teen reportedly sues Rachael Ray after being featured on her show to lose weight

Christina Pagliarolo appeared on the Rachael Ray Show in 2011 when she was a high school student. At age 18 and weighing 260 pounds, Pagliarolo was enlisting the help of Ray's team to lose 70 pounds before her senior prom.

According to unconfirmed reports, Pagliarolo is now suing Rachael Ray for negligence after she claims she was humiliated and berated by a personal trainer, reports Us Weekly.

It's worth noting that a copy of this lawsuit had not been received by Rachel Ray employees as of Thursday. A representative for the show tells the Huffington Post, TMZ and Us Weekly that they have not received a copy.

So what does this lawsuit allegedly say?

It suggests the personal trainer belittled Pagliarolo in their sessions "in a manner that caused the Plaintiff to feel anxious, demeaned and threatened."

The suit also reportedly describes two incidents in particular. One where Pagliarolo was on a StairMaster and was made to increase her speed to the point where she fell off, all the while being yelled at.

And the second incident where Pagliarolo was forced to take a hike, and after her weak legs gave way, she fell to the ground causing serious leg injuries.

"Pagliarolo is seeking an unspecified amount in 'punitive damages in an amount appropriate to punish and make an example of Defendants and each of them.' She is including The Rachael Ray Show, CBS, and Viskovicz in her lawsuit," reports Us Weekly.

This is not the first time the Rachael Ray Show has been sued.

In 2008, a former accounted who worked for the show claims he was forced out of his job because he had an eating disorder. Aaron Ferguson's suit for $1-million suggested that his manager exhibited hostile behaviour and made vile comments to him.
