Most popular baby names for 2013 so far, according to Nameberry

Because we can't seem to get enough of cute monikers, the U.S. website Nameberry has announced its most popular baby names of the year so far. That's right, waiting until the end of the year to announce the most popular baby names of 2013 offends our most impatient sensibilities.

According to the most-viewed names on Nameberry's website, two of this year's most popular monikers include the girls' name Katniss and the boys' name Django. Inspired by the films "The Hunger Games" and "Django Unchained," both names made the top 10 lists for their genders.

Taking the number one spot, the girls' name Imogen beats last year's champion Charlotte. And the top boys' name Asher beat last year's Finn.

The top unisex names so far are Quinn, Rowan and Sawyer.

“The top names on our lists may not even rank right now in the national top 1,000, but are likely to show up among the top names of the next decade," says Nameberry co-founder Pamela Redmond Satran in a press release.
