Man films one second each day in 2013 to create stunning video

"Just A Second 2013" is a stunning compilation video that features one second of a man's life every day last year, much of it in anticipation of his wife giving birth.

Kent Frost, a photographer from Springfield, Miss., has made his personal life in 2013 rather public by posting a video which captures the events -- from mundane to life-changing -- of his entire year to YouTube.

The result is nothing but astounding -- an artistic expression capturing considerable emotion within any given second.

The video shows Frost doing activities from the painfully mundane (filling gas) to the most profound (becoming a father) to the exceedingly fun (partying with friends).

In between all of his life events are clips of major news and current affairs, which add a political and historical context to the year.

He manages to chronicle major national and international events, such as the Boston Marathon bombings, the Pope's resignation, the U.S. government shut-down and Nelson Mandela's death.

This is Frost's second year-end review video. In January 2013, he released "Just a Second 2012," which gained coverage by CBS and Huffington Post.
