Hong Kong billionaire Cecil Chao is renewing his efforts to find a suitable husband for his happily-committed lesbian daughter, Gigi Chao.

The Chao's story first made headlines in 2012, when 77-year-old daddy dearest offered the equivalent of $63-million to any "generous and kind-hearted" man who could lure his 34-year-old daughter away from her long-time partner, Sean Eav.

The elder Chao has reportedly increased his offer to the equivalent of $120-million -- nearly double the original asking price for his daughter's hand in marriage.

Gigi is well-known in China as a gay rights activist and is a founding member of the Hong Kong-based Big Love Alliance. But, it appears her pleas to her father to stay out of her romantic life have fallen on deaf ears.

"I don't want to interfere with my daughter’s private life," The Huffington Post reports that Cecil told a Malaysian newspaper on Monday, adding, "I only hope for her to have a good marriage and children as well as inherit my business."

At the time of her father's original offer, Gigi told the Telegraph that she'd received hundreds of marriage proposals, but it appears none were enough to lure her away from Eav.

"I understand that [my father] loves me," she told the Daily Mail. "It's just he's from another time and it's difficult for him to understand the plight of the LGBT."
