Funny Santa letter with online links is a hoax
Cyber-space has been abuzz the past few days over a hoax Santa letter penned by a humour writer in Brooklyn, New York.
It was originally published a couple years ago by Zack Poitras at The Inclusive, but it resurfaced after being tweeted on Sunday by Twitter user @Gequeoman.

The adorable crayon-written letter is painstakingly blunt as pretend child "Sam" asks Santa for a number of toys, all by writing out long URLs for each online item. His first toy on the wish list is a $20 remote control toy car on Amazon, and interspersed in between eight other URLs, he randomly request a "new puppy."
The pièce de résistance? He ends his letter with a request for $50 cash.
The letter was also posted to Reddit, garnering a flurry of online reaction with over 1,500 comments and 36,000 votes since Tuesday.

"This is an accurate description of my Christmas wish list...and I'm 24," jokes one commentator.
Other funny Santa letters that have graced the web include one written by a girl who wants nothing else but 21 Hannah Montana items.
Another girl from Norway writes that her only wish is for an Ikea store to open in her neighbourhood and give her a job when she is older.
And let's not forget the boy who tells Santa to text his dad for a full Christmas wish list.
