Adele to create plus-size clothes for Burberry, say reports

Plus-size ladies, songstress Adele might be designing a clothing line for someone like you.

Vogue UK reports that Burberry's creative director, Christopher Bailey, is in talks with the singer about creating a clothing line for plus-size women.

"According to reports this morning, the Vogue cover girl was personally approached by creative director Bailey to become an ambassador for the British fashion house, and asked to work with him on a 'bespoke' range for voluputous customers," Vogue UK's Sarah Karmali wrote on the 18th.

Adele wore Burberry at the 2011 Brit Awards — see her accept an award in the custom dress here — and at last year's MTV Video Music Awards. The 24 year old, who is currently pregnant with her first child, has made it no secret that she's a huge fan of the brand.

''I've always loved Burberry. I remember saving for three years to get my first bag before I got signed," she previously gushed about the iconic British brand. "Five hundred quid ($794 CAD), I think it was, made of canvas with the logo like a satchel.''

While there has been no official announcement or confirmation of an Adele-Burberry collaboration, the Montreal Gazette reports that there have been no denials to the rumour so far either.

If price weren't an issue, would you wear a dress designed by Adele? Would it be black and retro-inspired, true to her signature red-carpet look?
